Why we built PandaShip ?

Most 3PLs grew up as warehouses that bolted on customer service. PandaShip was built communication-first. Here's why that changes how the whole relationship works.

Why we built PandaShip ?

The problem with most 3PLs isn't logistics. It's communication.

Talk to ten ecommerce founders about their fulfillment partner and you'll hear the same handful of complaints, in some order:

  • Their account manager changes every six months.
  • A missing pallet sits in someone's queue for three days.
  • The dashboard says one thing; the warehouse does another.
  • Reaching a human means opening a ticket and waiting.
  • When something goes wrong on a Friday, nobody picks up until Tuesday.

None of those are picking-and-packing problems. They're communication problems. And they're not rare — they're the default experience with most 3PLs once a brand gets past the sales pitch.

PandaShip exists because that didn't have to be the default.

A different starting point

Our founder is a technology veteran. Before PandaShip, that meant years of building and shipping software — the kind of work where if a customer can't get through to you, you don't have a business.

That perspective shaped how PandaShip was built. Most 3PLs grew up as warehouse operations that bolted on software and customer service later. PandaShip was designed the other way around: communication and visibility first, with a warehouse operation built to live up to what we promise.

It's a subtle difference, but it shows up everywhere — in how onboarding works, how issues get resolved, how your account manager treats your business at 10,000 orders a month versus 100.

What "personal touch" actually means

"Personal service" is a phrase every 3PL uses. Here's what it concretely looks like at PandaShip:

You have your account manager's direct phone number. Not a generic support line. Not a ticket portal that routes to whoever's next on shift. The actual cell of the actual person who knows your business.

That one decision changes the whole relationship. When a problem comes up, you text the person who can fix it. When you want to talk through Black Friday planning, you call. When an order needs to ship by 3pm because a customer is having a meltdown, your account manager knows by 2:55.

It's not magic. It's just refusing to put a queue between you and the person responsible for your orders.

What we ship for

PandaShip handles the full range of ecommerce fulfillment — pick and pack from your store of choice (Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, eBay, BigCommerce, and the rest), Amazon FBA prep when you need it, FBM and Seller-Fulfilled Prime when that's a better fit, and direct integrations with the carriers and platforms your business already runs on.

Same-day shipping on orders received by our daily cutoff. Pass-through carrier rates — what we pay is what you pay. Real warehouses operated by people who do this every day, not a network of subcontractors.

In 2025 alone, we've shipped over 750,000 orders for brands that needed a partner who answers the phone.

Who PandaShip is for

We're a good fit for ecommerce brands who've felt invisible at a bigger 3PL — brands doing meaningful volume but treated as tier 3 because they're not Fortune 500. We're a good fit for founders who'd rather text their account manager than file a support ticket. We're a good fit for operators who care about getting the boring details right — pack-outs, labeling, returns processing, peak-season planning — because those details are what your customers actually see.

If your fulfillment partner has stopped feeling like a partner, that's the gap PandaShip exists to fill.

That's it. No long sales sequence, no pressure to commit before you've talked to anyone, no surprises buried in the contract. The way the rest of the relationship is going to go is the way the first conversation goes.
